Hey guys,

2nd consecutive update! Updates on the blog selling thingy. Got pictures of friends, made them pose (tho awkwardly but nice attempt! haha) and here they are:

1. Mostly repetitions cos we do not have many samples/clothes & most importantly we were having fun while waiting for the laundry (haha sounds bimbotic i know..)
2. These are clothes and bags we own that we bought at the flea markets (therefore, it will DEFINITELY be priced reasonably) here in sydney, please please please shoutout if you're interested in stuff like these- and then, we can find a merry way to source these out :)

Got this vintage bag which was picked up (well, sorta) at Orange in Australia ;p

Loves: The navy blue blazer with adorable stripes at the chopped sleeves and the length of it, goes really well with dresses and bandage skirts or whatever! Versatility ;p

The demure pink-orange mini sundress has pretty thread-like details on the top; gi loves this!

The triple leather clutch bag. Made of different types of leather like Ostrich etc, HANDMADE! (: I Love it.

Loose-fit grey tshirt and the black cropped blazer. blazer is generally stiff and looks smart.

Last but not least, The best buy! lol. Vintage shoes which is definitely the Epitome of classic vintage- with the gold strips running across the tip of the orange-red leather heels.

ooooh wahla! the (no. 123456789th) redundant time i'm reviving my blog! Like casual CPRs whenever i can, makes life more interesting i guess?
Anyways, updates are as follow:
1. I'm back in syd, sad and away from home (& THE WORLD!)
2. lonely in my white dysfunctional crockroach-infested hole (okay, that's a little exaggerating haha)
3. SICK with some unknown stomach flu creepy-crawlie that never fails to churn my internals and swing my head back and forth
4. i'm trying to pack my little white room and prettify it but i don't see an opportunity
5. trying to catch up with work which i've missed
6. got dragged to a college dance audition which demanded me to.. D-i-r-t-y D-a-n-c-e. (SO YOU THINK germaine CAN dirty DANCE?!) Sorry but i just don't see or imagine how both terms actually go together.
7. So, thankfully.. the door wasn't locked: slippers phone and keys, and out i went :)

It all started with Ria's blog, blog hopping. One inspiration and Teresa's nag to get me up and goin on this again, yes yes. This whole blogging thing has since proved itself to be ummm.. unnecessary and useless. Haha anyways, returned from Singapore on monday! Man, how i wish i was back there piggin' out ): ah, that just goes to show "good times will have an end" is true.

Life's a bore right now, something's missing. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT but there's this weird bird in me tellin' me i gotta do something but i JUST DO NOT KNOW WHAT! Ugh, tried goin shopping today but to no avail, yes i repeat, TO NO AVAIL! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! HAHA AWESOME. This shall be noted in my historical events book. Ah, maybe it's UNI? or like, should i be studying? (no motivation right now sorry) or, Should i be home right now? As in, the one in Singapore. Or, where's Phae? (PHAE: NOT FOR YOUR EYES! I DO NOT MISS YOU HAHA) Or, why am i still sick? Or, Why does my room look like a tornado just swept through it? Or, Where am i goin to shift to after Taylors House perishes? Or, When am i ever going to file my notes? Or, where's Mitchell? Or, why are there so many empty bottles in my room? OKAY SORRY I'M GOING A LITTLE OUT OF POINT HERE. But yeh, i feel weird. I've been having strange dreams for the past few nights! And Mitchell's attempt to alleviate me from all the stress was "It's all right, you dream more when you're sick. It's true." Haha i think otherwise.

Summary of nightmares:
Strange dream #1 I kept a dolphin and a shark in my fish tank (i prolly had a humungous one) and the shark bit my dolphin so i bashed it with a spoon, yeah, spoon, and it started bleeding mad and after that i felt really guilty though it killed my dolphin (my dolphin looked like a whale with a horn in the dream) Oh, and the shark actually belonged to my brother.

Strange dream #2 I bumped into a long lost friend and she told me their younger sister is going for a sex change! This is what they said: "YEAH, SEE SHE HAS LIKE BICEPS GROWING! AND LOOK AT HER LARGE FEET AND VEINS RUNNING THRU IT!" So apparently, the mum decided to TRANSFORM HER into a.. man. yes HAHAHA.

Strange dream #3 Mitchell and i were kayaking and alex crashed into our kayak and my ore totally screwed up, it was bent into a L shape. but the next moment i was drowning and for idontknowwhat reason my ankles were bound by shackles! And, next scene: Mitchell was carrying me walking towards the shore like some hero WAHAHA.

That's about all that's still fresh in my memory. Weird mind.

F1 WAS PLAIN AWESOME! :) Loved the roaring of the engines! Haha and witnessed a couple of crashes and booboos haha like Masa's ferrari speeding off with the fuel pipe still clung onto his car. Overall, Amazing! Would pay to go again :p

It's been a longggggggg time, haha highlight of the week:

I passed my geopolitics essay :) Thank God, really. Before I dumped the assignment into the assignment box i was like "damn i bet they'll think this is baby work" haha well, not quite but sorta HAHA 2 more marks to a credit! considering i did it like 2 days before and it's my first assignment, overall, i'm happy. Not sure if i passed political economy though. Hope I do.

Anyways, let the pictures do the talking. Went for taylors 10 year anniversary dinner brought gi along as my partner haha. Nel was there. Danced quite a bit! Had lotsa fun dancing with the Teachers and THE DEAN. Yes, i repeat, DEAN.

It's FRIDAY yet again! Went for soccer at 530 and guess what, I scored two goals! And it was Nick as the goalie wahaha. Somehow, there's more credit to my shots if you say it's a GUY guarding the goal. Hahaha the beauty of being a WOMAN. :) Anyhows, sociology and lingusitics assignments are due on Sunday and Monday. And my most dreadful tute on MONDAY- ECOP. The tutorial in itself is instiling fear into my fragile heart ): Hence the unenjoyable sunday evenings.

Thank God it's Friday!
Because, it's a day-off for me = Liberty of lying+rolling in bed
Anyways, I dreamt that i was playing soccer, like, in a real league kinda thing. And guess what! Self-fulling prophecy came true, people haha. well of course, eliminate the league part :) I decided to join ria and the others on their little soccer adventure i would call it. (And no, my legs didn't fumble though i felt that they were somehow all over the place)
AND THE ENTIRE SOCCER RULE OF ME BEING UNABLE TO AT THE VERY LEAST TOUCH THE BALL WITH MY HANDS WAS A TORTUREEEEEEEEEEEE!! (That's why soccer and germaine cant get along) but hey, i wasn't THAT bad (i had compliments :D WAHAHA)

Anyhows, exercise for the week. I'm still waiting for the return from USYD'S netball club. I'm so in need of exercise and not forgetting endorphins (you know the chemical produced when you exercise which increases your happy meter, i think) Well, I AM ACHING.

Drained is the word. I've been staying up for no apparent reason since i returned, till 2am except one of the days at 1230 when i could sense the sudden fumbling of my immunity system. But, of course, i had my chinese tea supplies :D haha they're awesome, really. It's like THE instant HEALER (says it in a supernatural manner) ok that was kinda lame and offshore (My new invented word which means out of point basically).

Anyhows, made friends with this serbian girl during socio lecture cos of my clumsiness. Haa familiar i know, very, to those who know me. To summarise my famous acts, She called me HOPELESS after i ACCIDENTALLY knocked the table forward and UNINTENTIONALLY threw my books forward to the next row, so i had to crawl and pick up my stuff, Ye-aaaaah. It happened twice haha, hence the word thrown at me was Hopeless. Man, something i'll never forget. haha. but she was real nice though :)

Wanted to attempt philosophy though, maybe next sem. haha amd im gonna join like either kickboxing or netball (which i dont really mind training again haha) i feel so in need of exercise, i'm growing BIGGER! Final decision: Single degree econs and social science which is a double major in itself. and i'm thinking of doing gender studies or french/japanese studies as my second major. Anyway, though law and all is so all emcompassing and is such a useful degree (i have no intention to practice law btw), i think i'll give it a miss. I doubt i'll regret it cos i don't think my interest for the subject is overflowing.

Did math test yesterday as well, it was CRAZY! The paper was definitely not difficult but i totally messed it up. I WISH I WASN'T TAKING SILLY MATHS. ARGH. it is so SO SO FRUSTRATING. I bet i'm gonna fail, trust me.

Studying media right now, life is monotonous.
Oh actually not really, aimee cheered me up with a surprised gift- TARO MILK TEA! haha my new found lover ;p

Had usyd exhibition today. Man, i'm in such a dilemma. I'm torn between a double degree (Law and Econs+social Sci) and a single degree Econs + Social Sci. The thing is, the combined degree's future prospects obviously looks very tempting but the problem is, will i be able to cope. Seriously, it's like a triple degree as all three are majors. ARGHHHHH. i feel so so inadequate. Lord please help me make a decision!

anyways i'm gonna apply for a taylors scholarship. Not sure if i'll get it but hey, no harm tryin yea? haha all right, so much things to do, my brain feels so cluttered!

Stress is nothing more than one that ruins you, tears away your sensibility, causes you to gain unnecessary weight and pockets of fats in every unwanted position. The more you don't want those fatty molecules to appear, the more they come up and say "HELLO! IM HERE" and you just roll your eyes in disbelief. well, the places in which you sincerely yearn for them to appear, they say "I'm SORRY, dear i was never meant to be there" ha-ha. If you know what i'm driving at. hahaha.
but the bottom line is it causes an internal calamity within you, at least for me unfortunately, yes.
Serious food binges during trial exams have awfully injected me with nothing more than just UNWANTED FATS. F-A-T-S. yes, EVERY WOMAN'S FIRST LOVE.. (if you could sense sarcasm drippin' from those words, uh huh.) Now, i'm stuck in a self-declared detox diet for this entire week which sadly, totally never came through. haha. but for some reason or another, my weight fluctuates almost everyday haha! water retention? maybe. weighing scale problems? maybe. double vision on my part? maybe. Or in self-denial? MAYBE! haha I have no idea or whatsoever.
Anyway, i can't be bothered anymore. Phae rummaged through her somewhat cohesive mess and found "100 BEST DISHES IN SINGAPORE" ha-ha! There you go.. digestive juices go oooohh eeee aaaahhh. Your eye lids twitch. Brain goes into a food and diet war.

friggin cramps took a toll on me, ruined myt shoping trip wih phae and pevented me from having sushi. yea yeah, anyway we made a futile trip all the way to eastgardens and had to return home cos i was just feeling so sick and horrendously disgusting. My head was spinning from one end to another, man i bet i didnt knw what i was capable of doing haha.

anyhows, finally got my social science results for trials! did pretty well actually. haha a 9.3 with a supposed 9.4 mark really made my day (: but i guess the one mark didnt really count as lng as i knew the right answer yeah. so, gpa for trials is a good ol' 8.8

wait a minute, it was a never a long time ago.
Anyway, trials officially begins.. TODAY!
Had english today, 3 hrs 10 mins just screws yur butt.
And to begin with, i had such a bad start. Even before i entered the exam room i was stressing out for idontknowwhatfor but yeah, this is the very first and last time i'm stressing out for ENGLISH. Damn, yea i know it sounds dumb haha. So, fine. Then i sat down and realised i left my student id in the room! Dang. It just Had. To. Happen. Well done Germaine.

Flustered, i rushed outta the room, took a peek at the room adjacent to mine and saw pheara and did the i'm-in-shit-need-your-help-and-the-key-to-level-four look and he sorta got the idea and threw the key towards my direction. Fine, so i ran and jammed the lift button (if that's what you call it haha) and finally! LEVEL FOUR! I dashed to my room and swiped the card. Yes, omg. How intelligent Germaine. IT WAS PHEARA'S KEY = PHEARA'S ROOM ONLY. asjkhdjkhdsfjlhflsjdkhfsfksdjhfjkdshf how stupid. hahahaha.
Then fine, i couldn't find kathleen and anyway she would have probably began reading the passage. ARGH then went all the way down to the reception to get my temp id and the queue just HAD TO BE ANNOYINGLY LONG. so fine, go y temp id and rushed to the room. Missed 5 mins of reading time but ohwell. That was fine. The fact that my head was spinning 1233455435 degrees annoyed the shit outta me and i couldn't take my mind off the flustering and all for like the next 2 hours! plus the guy sitting beside me so did not help the situation, he kept fidgeting, stretching, sneezing, blowing his nose crazily loud and ETCETERA. and the invigilator was whispering to her fellow teacher for almost the entire first hour or so. Everyone around me is falling/getting sick sick sick. Literally and metaphorically. Seriously, and many thanks to SOPHEARA! The Flu Bug Infector. OHH! I just realised it's abbreviated as F.B.I. hahahaha. What an awfully lame coincidence haha.

Anyway! did Econs today. As usual. Then, did MATH. (yeh, i'm actually practising math). Plenty of oral presentations comin up and i've yet to get started on any.
TRIALS are getting onnnnnnnnnnnnn myyyyyyyy nervesssssssssssssssssssssss.

Oh and i had to churn out an essay for a scholarship my dad insisted i should take up and the best part was: it's due tmrw! So i was typing away AT 1AM YESTERDAY. It made me so pissed cos i was deprived of my beauty sleep (i'm falling sick too), i blabbered nonsense for like 2 paragraphs and stopped. haha then i slept.

I'm SO SO SO tired, i can just plop onto the bed and konk out within 2 secs.
We just had a game of ultimate frisby, was fine i suppose. If only we could play with the guys it would be so much more fun and enjoyable but nevertheless, it was all good. Now, i'm having hunger pangs and i'm extremely tired.
Lectures were good as well. I popped into the accounting lecture too haha.

USYD experience

Just returned from the first day of USYD experience.
I AM SO D.R.A.I.N.E.D.
My lunch was at 9am and until now i've not had anything except for a brownie i had awhile ago. Man, tht's university life for you.. haha.
And now i do appreciate being in Taylors (Our very own North Pole) rather than standing out there with the cars' exhaust overwhelming your face. ohwell ohwell.
Anyway, media lecture was really enriching. Now i'm considering taking media in uni. I actually do find it more interesting than like economics and all the money matters etc.

Ugh, i'm in a dilemma yo! haha and i feel too young to even step into uni more so, assimilate into uni life. Seriously, everybody's like so matured-looking probably well into their 20s or at least in their 20s while we're like babies in the crowd. Really. It's probably because we skipped Alevels and all and leaped right into tertiary education after Olevels. I was even considering taking a gap year after foundations meaning, taking about 6 months off to say, travel? then start when i'm probably 19-20? Hahaha was mentioning it to my mum and she was like "HUH, DON'T WANT LAAAA" hahaha well, there are pros and cons. On the positive side, you'll be matured enough to handle obstacles that comes your way (hopefully) but on the negative, you might just forget whatever you hve learnt for the past year os so! HAHA which makes sense to a certain extent. haha.

Anyhow, we're going out for dinner soon though i'm absolutely tired and simply DRAINED.

Media was cancelled BECAUSE.. Helen decided oh we should just take a step back and flop on the couch today. Haha fabulous. Duffy as usual i dont think he did much so, i had a little extra hour sleeping.

Then went for econs, nothing much though. Having English later with my 20 week report with Gary, i hope the flippant staff dont go shoving my report into some unknown folder AGAIN. Anyway, greeted aunty Rosy with a pink pad today (: (guys, don't attempt guessing haha) I hope i'll not suffer from severe cramps as i usually do, and faint in the toilet! Haha Drama Mama.

Anyhow, Gi's coming in like umm.. 3 days or so? Yeh, aww man i bet the feeling of leaving your loved ones sucks, So Bad. Ugh i can totally understand man like rushing to and fro desperately trying to squeeze every ounce of time.
but all will be fine i guess, i'm still surviving :D haha the Most Dependent One STILL SURVIVING. haha so you'll be fine, gi (: haha. Oh, the first hol back was like Heaven. It felt so awesome to finally breathe in the essence of home!

Haha okay, enough with all that reminiscing. exam's in a month's time. and tomorrow, lectures at Sydney Uni. Hope i'll be able to find my way around. haha.

Hey there, kat, ploen and i went to East Gardens today. Bought 2 tops and some accessories. Haha and stocked up on my snacks! haha. Anyway, just did a chapter of Econs and man, it sucks. you know the investment multiplier and all that crap. MATH!, yeah A Great Deal of math's involved that's why. Ugh.

Anyhows, going over to sydney uni this weds to friday for lectures and tutorials. And i joined FRISBY! (Ok, don't give me that weird stare) let's try again.. I JOINED ULTIMATE FRISBY! Haha now now, that sounds more Professional yo! :D

It's almost 1 here, my eyes are drying up. haha now that sounds weird too.
Argh i'm tired.

Anyway, there was this lady who called me in the afternoon, 5 mis before my english lesson. And she told i won some contest and a free makeover and photoshoot. haha she was speaking like a bullet train ic ouldnt catch what she was saying haha. so she rattled on and on but i told her i was under 18 and she asked me if she could speak to an adult. Haha so i was like umm sorry.. parents arent here and all. Haha then i was in such a rush i told her i wasnt keen and asked if i could give it a miss. And she asked if i wanted to pass the opportunity to someone else, but kat wasn't back (she's the one who always joins contests like these!) haha so i said no. Haha and i told her i had to rush off! hahahaha so i guess i missed that opportunity HAHA.

but the thing was, i don't remember participating in any such contests! haha so lame. hahahaha and it's like 30 photoshoots and all. Come to think of it, it's uch a waste cos she said i could bring along a friend. and im sure kat would love it hahaha. Yeah but oh well oh well. Alright, that's for today. Pin treated us to dinner today. The thai food was incredibly delicious! She's Thai btw, so you can imagine she stuffed us with all the authentic Thai dishes. Yes.
It was Really good. Anyway, finished Eng essay and econs h/w. Math, not quite.

A random thought: I miss my friends back home. If you're one of them reading this, I MISS YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! ):
I was in the shower and i began having flashbacks of like how we used to enjoy (sometimes) life in StMargs and now, we're all going our separate ways real soon. Man, time flies. I can't imagine myself actually being labelled as a tertiary student. I still sense immaturity dominating my brain. (Haha what a weird expression!) Yeh, it's like everything's happening at such a fast pace. Friends come and go and stuff like that, nothing really actually is perpetual other than God and your family. really. Anyway, i'll post a few photos. Havent been posting them for quite some time.

Ohyes, went to Char's White Rabbit. HUGE, i tell ya. but 3/4 had totake seasick pills which made me awfully drowsy during the dinner. Haha!

ohwell ohwell, life of a student is such. Anyhows, english lesson was crazy (sort of) Gary injected a little jest by impersonating a geek/nerd/idiosyncratic person with gigantic thick-rimmed glasses and carried a fat cat-lookalike bag, a soft toy kinda thing. It was wayyyyyyy hilarious! Can't imagine a teacher doing that haha.

Anyhows, i miss mitch though. We havent actually spoken for a week plus, rah. and i'll probably not be able to for the next week or so. Ohwell ohwell life is such. Hahahaha my attempt in trying to sound like an optimist.

First Day of School yo!
Okay, my first complaint of 2008: My internet connection went berserk with the customer service officers (They're really annoying) and so i was living literally Down Under for 3 days.
Second complaint: The room was so so stuffy last night i just kept tossing around with THIS MUCH of frustration embedded in my veins!

Anyway, i'm feeling much better today :) Adjusting back to the aussie life haha.
Oh and got back my econs and math results today. I bet i was gonna fail math, as in seriously. But woohoooooo! I was damn relieved when i checked my results cos i didn't do one of the questions which i knew how to "unravel the mystery"! But what happened was, the invigilator shouted across the classroom: "10 more minutes guys" AND, knowing that i'm a total turtle in calculations, I PANICKED for the entire 10 minutes! I read the question over and over and over again but my brain simply REFUSED TO PROCESS ANY INFORMATION. Well, great. So anyhows! Marking was lenient i guess HAHAHA. but seriously, Thank God i wouldn't have done it without His help and Guidance. So the final grade was 8.3 which i'm really glad about and thankful.

Then, got back my econs paper too, 9.3 (Pretty glad bout that one too) Thank You, Lord! So anyway anyway, i guess media would be the worst then HAHA. Ohyes! AND MY INTERNET CONNECTION'S WORKING AGAIN OOHHLALA! (: Double Happiness! hahahaha seeya guys.

Home Sweet Home in 2 days' time! Finally haha. But it's kinda sad actually, the thought of leaving Taylors and all the friends we used to bump into early morning with our hair dishevelled and eyes half shut, i mean, at least that's me. Ohwell, i'll miss the Fantastic 4 buddies as well. Ohyes, the whole Fantastic 4 fiasco was brought to you by the guys up at Taylors House, they labelled Phae, Char, Kat and I the Fantastic 4. Anyhows, on the brighter note, kat, kristen and their dad, uncle and i did the Sydney Bridge climb today! Hahaha it's wayyyy cool. We were like tons of feet above the highway. haha and my legs are sorta sore now from all the climbing, but it's an experience all worth the money. Then, bought some pictures. Exams are OVER yo!
And i can safely say that they were Horrendous, with a capital H.
I can even predict the marks i'll be receiving and NO, it isn't that kinda typical singaporean where he/she goes like "Oh i'm gonna do really badly in the exams, i think i'm gonna FAIL!!" -in a screechy voice! but gets like straight As after declaring he/she's gonna fail, Great.
I can even vow that i'll do terribly for these tests. It's just THAT uneasy feeling you get after the exams! Ugh. If youre a student you'll get what i mean.
Anyway, Econs was fine.
Social science was fine, i Think.
Media was horrid.
Math was .. No Comments.

You get what i mean, but no point cryin over spilt milk.
I'll just have to study harder for the upcomin exams, NEXT YEAR!

It was kinda lame actually, cos char phae nelson and i were like studying a past year paper. And the entire scene of us actually memorising the answers of some past student was majorly Pathetic. Hahaha.
And in the end, it was simpler than what we thought it'd be. But, i doubt i'll do good anyway. I was literally distracted the entire time! hahaha.

Exams fever once again!
Ahhhhh, that's the advantage of an overseas education you see. We have assignments piled on top of our exams the whole year round and it makes you study like crazy for the entire year! How is that good? Well, firstly it's not like wasting 3.5 years of your life and banging the other 0.5 year in your secondary education. You just HAVE to be on your toes all the time. Secondly, there are fewer distractions here, at least to me.
Anyway, Char treated us to dinner at woolloomooloo again, on wednesday.

English Presentation- Killer, NOT.

Almost done with English presentation.
We tried presenting to kathleen and ploen and i was already feeling the nervousness tickling my bones. Haha i can so imagine me shaking and sweat trickling down my forehead with my fingers twitching, on Monday. Not funny at all. I've not done a presentation since umm.. let's see, wayyyyy before the Olevels? haha pretty long time huh. Anyway, i'm exaggerating HAHAHA. Presentations can't be THAT bad. My classmates would probably be half asleep ANYWAY.

Had dinner at a pub (according to Enoch) with kathleen and Enoch.
Food was pretty good, took pictures. As usual. We had some korean ice cream for dessert at a convenience stall nearby.

Sunday!
Went to church for 1130 service.
Came back, had sandwich for lunch then kathleen and i went over to enoch's room to chat.
Aimee's party, met at 4pm downstairs.
walked all the way to green square station to meet some random guys who wanted to rent aimee's room. Highly dangerous as i put it. Three australian guys looking not very decent as in, you know theyre party animals that kinda thing.
So anyway, they fixed the bbq pit and cooked for us HAHA.

Oh and it was dark outside hence, the 4 of us decided to leave.
Cos we had to WALK back ourselves and it wasnt exactly safe to do so.
It was soooo freaky i tell you. Adrenaline was pumping high and fast in our blood streams! IT WAS SO SO FREAKY. Imagine 4 girls in an industrial area with lotsa trees and all! haha kathleen and i held hands and walked superbly fast and char and phae were like almost jogging in front of us. So, i decided to slip my handphone into my pocket in case anything happened. AND, i decided to wedge my key in between my fingers! hahahaha. This sounds kinda dramatic and overly kiasu, but who cares! No place is as safe as Singapore! hahaha. Yeah, I LOVE SINGAPORE NOW. Thank God the main road wasnt that far, so we hailed a cab and three of them stopped! HAHAHA. Thank God (: That's prolly the highlight of the party.

Hey there, parents and younger bro's in town but will be going off soon though. Meeting them for dinner tonight! :D
Btw, my younger bro has grown bigger in width! HOHO.
Anyway, since they've been here i've hardly gotten the time to sit down and study or the very least do my homework. Ugh. I'll have to look through the entire chapter in econs again. HEYA.
Been to the dentist. Got the craziest shock of. my. life.
THE REVELATION- I HAVE TO EXTRACT ALL FOUR WISDOM TEETH AT ONE GO.
Yeah, sounds bad doesn't it. I mean, REALLY BAD.
Yes, and all the horrifying braces days have finally resurfaced after a longggg time.
So i was contemplating on whether i should extract it here or back in s'pore.
Plus, i'm having a gum infection right now. So my gums are swollen.
Dentist did some cleaning and man, IT REALLY HURT!
Anyway, after all the hoohah like running from place after place to get my xray done etc, we finally decided to do the extraction in singapore. I called my dentist in Singapore and she said if it isn't giving you problems then you can just wait for a month. Yeah, but my immediate concern was the shifting of the alignment of my teeth.
Anyway, to cut the long story short- i'll PROBABLY be extracting my teeth in Singapore. (: Thank God.

Woke up at 9 today as Media lesson was cancelled. And assuming it was gonna be that strange ommelette, i decided to sleep a little later. And guess what! IT WAS PANCAKES TODAY. Ugh, i feel so cheated. Oh and that whip cream toy is just simply interesting. Haha, you'll never fail to witness a person getting all dressed in whip cream every morning when there's pancakes for breakfast. It just sprays in all directions! Insanity. Oh and the plug for the toaster just uh.. melted. It's charred and oozing toasted blood from the power socket. I never knew an innnocent toaster could do such harm to a harmless power socket. Hahaha okay, i'll stop digressing. Ah, i'm just bored you see and i've got nothing much to write about.

Ohyea, will only receive the test papers either on weds or thurs this week. But managed to check my math results! Omg, Shocking! My diagnostic test was like 76 and my recent test was like 92.5 which is an A- (yeah i know the minus just ruins the entire glory of it) but, nonetheless, it's all God's glory. None of mine, all His. I did it for Him (:

Like, i woke up at 10 had breakfast at 1030am and subsequently it's like doing nonsense and kathleen was staring blankly at the computer. Char and Phae went out but we decided to save money hence we're rotten papayas now. And it's almost dinner time now! EXAMS ARE OVER! (Okay i mean, first assignments which is like 5% of my final grade)
hahaha anyway had social science and media today.
Social science was TOO straightforward hence it made me think like there was some hidden trick out to slit my throat from the back or something! haha so i kept on reading the questions back and forth and forth and back yada yada. haha so yeah, media was a little queer. Oh oh and i just heard the first roar of thunder in like ummm, 2 months?
hahaha it's raining here and it's rare cos australia's DRY AND FLAT. (haha quotes duffy!) Alright, attempted to study today. Mission FAILED.
I seriously had NO MOOD to even look at my notes or to even flip the pages of my textbook. Yes, it's seriously MOOD-LESS.

So anyway! stared at my notes for awhile, ate chocolates, had instant noodles (That has practically been my diet for the entire 3 months, so dont ask me why if i come back balding cos YOU KNOW WHY) and slept for an hour which was actually meant to be only 15 minutes. hoho. Whether i'll be able to do the paper or just stare blankly at the questions, is another story, but i just cant wait for school! :D
haha it's because i'm cooped up like a bird in a brown cage everyday and finally when there's like a toy to play and all, elation grabs me. English, Math and Econs done! (: English was fine just that the passage was a little boring. It's about History of English language! haha i think i missed out some points though. It's summary writing btw.

haha then came MATH! My ultimate fear :\ hahaha it turned out easier thn i expected though! haha as in compared to Singapore's math papers. Like usually we'll be groaning and moaning and whinning after math papers in school and you'll feel like the entire world has just laid down disproportionably on your shoulders, yeah but math papers here are slightly easier i guess. Was really worried bout math, but i prayed and everything's fine :D Thank God.

Econs was fine too but DRAINING. I feel like i've lost more than 2 litres of blood literally (okay, i'm exaggerating) and metaphorically. But i feel so lifeless and just wana stone the day away, you know like after 3 papers you just want to sit aside and sleep. haha but i've got two more papers to go on Friday. Social science and Media!

After exams, it's back to the studying! ): I think. shrugs. Righto, i'm gonna take a rest now. Seeya honkeh donkeh!

I'm seriously getting so confused with math. Their methods and everythin are just so different even though it's like almost equivalent to Amath and a little of jc1 math! And i have to constantly refer to my TYS! Rah. Anyway, blood fusion arrived today (at least it didnt catch me off guard!) Yes, and cramps aint that bad anymore. Probably thanks to phae's theory on Wheat-intake! haha.

I'm more or less prepared for tomorrow's papers. Except math! :\ Econs and English should be fine though. Hope so, at least. I'll be sleeping early today! English's at 9am :)

Anyhowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww school's like THAT, friends are like THAT too. Nothing much! It's the exams fever right now :) Target would be: 8.0!

RAH I'm feeling ultra moody today.
I'm feeling detached from the world and i'm tired, not necessarily sleepy but just you know, tired and feeling detached from the surroundings.
I woke up today and was like "Where am i?" I guess i dreamt i was back home in Singapore and tada i'm actually here! Okay, the homesickness thing is probably kickin in.

First assignments are a week away! Oh i think i've been repeating myself hahaha.

Oh oh! I received a call from cherrie and she said there was this guy who called her and wanted to return a phone (whom she has no clue on who it belonged to, but because her number was in there, he called her), but she's alr back in s'pore, like now! HAHA. So, raising all the suspicion bout the guy i dragged kathleen along! We were supposed to collect the phone and i was supposed to be 'Geraldine'! So walked out and saw this chinese guy in black. (Okay, at least he was an asian, can't imagine if he was some huge and enormous caucasian, i'll probably 'pee in my pants' haha.) Then we were like, oh hello. Then he passed us the phone and he looked at my student ID number! Freaky. But, i took his number and name down as well hahahaha it was like some secret mission. haha and he was rather weird. Then, Geri and kh were standing at the doorway! And i was like, "Oh, do you know whose phone does this belong to?" And she was like, oh it's mine!!" hahaha and she was like in shock, she didnt even know her phone was missing HAHAHA. Okay, the end. Alright, i'm gna type out my notes. Goodnight, world.

hey there, just got back from CG at hillsong. Eilynn and i were like feeling SO LOST. Man, it was like First day of orientation. haha but we talked to a few people and exchanged phone numbers etcetera. However, the music was like MAJORLY LOUD! and i could literally feel my organs pounding and probably shifting an inch or two! haha and i attempted to relieve the uneasiness by pressing onto my chest but yea, it obviously didnt work! So, yeah it went on like that for about 30mins then had sermon kinda thang. Was good.

Then had to go home and all, so one of the CG leaders sent me home. Apparently, the area im livin in isnt much of a safe place to live in, so she didnt want us to walk back alone, thanks anyway for the ride :)

Going to the city tmrw. And monday is a holiday for us! haha it's Labour Day! :D :D Anyhowwww, im hungry! haha and I LOST WEIGHT. Damn, now im getting paranoid and just threw myself into the whole dilemma thing haha. I THINK I SHOULD GAIN WEIGHT. NO I SHOULD LOSE THE FATS. YES I SHOULD. oohh that reminds me of my french lessons when i go back. haha anyway, i'm havin glike 3 hours break now. It's 3 hours everyday except for monday. Yes, it can either be to your advantage or disadvantage. haha but to me it's obviously an advantage cos i can ladeedah for 3 hours and catch a nap :D

haha anyhows! Got back my media studies essay and got an 8/10. Well, isn't really a piece welldone. Phae got like full marks! :D hahaha and she was complaining like how her essay didnt make sense! Because the tv channels here are SO LIMITED, we decided to watch a movie! and we decided on the Omega Code, and OMG, the scenes were like eveywhere. Wasnt the least bit coherent at all, and the images were so animated. HAHA, and from the start of the show till the end, we were attempting so hard to decipher the plot! haha till the last scene we were like "OHHH.. LIKE THAT ONLY?!" haha damn, it was really a terrible movie. haha but ohwell that kept us occupied while the rest were playing with their lanterns downstairs! haha oh oh and i just got back my English writing test, i scored a 9.0! HAHA when Gary (as in the teacher) told me my results i was like "Yeah, dont lie!" and he was like I'm not!! and he showed me the paper thang. hahaha and i was like oh, okay so unbelievable i was basically talking nonsense throughout haha, but ohwell. heya,
Had to go to Manly beach for some shcool outing, and basically we were supposed to take our attendance and leave- yes. So, kathleen and i decided to JOG! haha since winter is like hibernation period and all, it's time to exercise! yes, at least we attempted to do so, but the winds were really strong and it was colddddddddd. HAHA so guess what? PLAN FAILED. We sat on the shore, talked for a bit and we decided to have lunch. haha yep, phae and char were SO BUSY SHOPPING IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEY TOOK THEIR ATTENDANCE, and reason being- the whole idea of sun beach sand was not their kinda thing. haha i thought that's like the epitome of a girl's first love. haha okay i mean, at least to me it is.

So yeah, was dead tired for some reason after the walk at the beach! i was literally zombish after the whole beach thing. OH OH and ive been doing my crunches faithfully! hoho KILL THE FATS, DIE DIE DIE.

Ohyes, got back my econs test and i scored 20/21! and topped the class :D Thank God. hahaha and coincidently it was my mum's birthday when i received the shocking results, so i told her that's her bday present for this year :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA MIA! <3

anyway, these are the pictures we took at fujiya restaurant.
Went there for dinner last weekend. and omg i think i put on weight! :\
I had this sudden realisation that i was PUTTING ON WEIGHT (Though i do not have a weighing scale anywhere near me)
so guess what! i did some exercises today! HAHA i did 60 situps, 50 handlifts (like i used kathleen's pantene conditioner and my 2litre mount franklin bottle HAHA) and i did 100 jumping jacks! HAHAHAHA IM UBER PROUD OF MYSELF :D Anyway, here's the pics.

shucks, i cant upload the photos! anyway,something EXTRAORDINARY happened ystd, literally. haha i woke char up at 11 cos she's the only one who can cook! and we've been having instant noodles for the past few days and the salt was slowly inching its way into my blood and so we decided to cook! Yes, cook. Apparently, char's a great cook, uh yeah.. i think. So, we got all our ingredients and our wholesome pots and happily marched our way into the pantry with the i-know-i-can-cook sign etched on our foreheads. I mean, maybe only charlotte. haha. Then, she asked me to wash the mushrooms and cut them. and hello, i was the best mushroom cleaner/cutter in the entire world, i bet. So while i was cutting the mushrooms into nice halves, charlotte plopped a cube of garlic butter into the pot cos she did not have oil to start with, then guess what!

POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF! THE BUTTER JUST BURST INTO FLAMES, AND SERIOUSLY, I MEAN F-L-A-M-E-S. Omg, i stared at the Fiery Pot in awe and amazement and shock and i gave that ohmygoodness-will-we-be-charged-for-arson look. then immediately, charlotte giving that RELAX-Everythings-fine look brought the pot to the sink and switched on the tap! haha yeah, SMART. hahahaha and the flames just grew BIGGER and sorta swooshed the base of the top shelf (and now it's sorta charred)! omg. then there was like this whole cloud of smoke everywhere and there went the smoke alarm! HAHA! yeah and it started ringing and everything and we had to be evacuated from the building together with the other students! ohmy, i was still suffering from the shock that night. haha but char didnt have to pay cos apparently the "smoke-inhaler" thing did not absorb the smoke. but man, what a joke!

had lessons as usual, and i made new friends with a russian guy. He's damn funny! haha he was teaching me math and he mentioned the letter Y as ee-grek, and i was like oh is that french? then he was like "HAHA NONO, IT'S RUSSIAN" then he wrote 9 as g. Apparently, it's that's how they do it in russia. then he taught us the entire alphabet thing in russian! ahhahaha some of it had like different shapes and sizes! Looked like spaceships! hahaha. Then he offered me his coke, and i was like OH NONO IT'S OKAY. then we started talking about vodka! HAHA. he said he'll bring to aust some vodka from finland, better than absolute HAHA. oh and the 25 year old korean guy taught me korean! hahaha this is damn fun!

anyway, just f.y.i
im taking economics, social sciences (which is something like philosophy,learning about society etc), media studies and communication (which is about how media influences the lives of people etc, but more of the theory part), math (which is easier than amath, FORTUNATELY) and english. Oh scored 7.0 for my eng diagnostic test, so now im supposed to help the china students. yep oh and i scored 74 for my math diagnostic test! haha cant qualitfy to do advanced math which is like Fmath and neither do i want to do that so well, not that bad for the first go! hahahaha.

anyhow, i saw the eclipse today! but the moon somehow never came backkkkkk.
Everything's fine here, i'm getting more used to it here. i just realised that's what ive been saying for the previous posts as well.
OH AND IM FALLING SICKKKKK ): )': RAH.

Ohyes, and there was this guy whos studies here as well, and he asked me if i wanted to join any netball clubs here and he'll help me with it. well, i said i didnt want to already since i made a decision to stop netball after jc already. so i was like, uh i dont think i want to, and he was like "but you'll grow fat very quickly here!" hahaha and i was like yea man, but i dont want to join! hahaha and i was like "and anyway i wont be as fast as the players and theyre all so tall!" and he was like "no.. but youre faster than them!" haha i'll be like a midget there! but i said i'll think about it. haha plus im not sure if my knee and back are fine :\ anyhows, i dont think i'll touch netball and play competitively again. The passion has kinda died down and is almost extinguished. Maybe, for leisure i will, definitely. but ohwell, i'll hold on to the memories real tight. (:

hey there,

i'll be going out with eilynn later in the afternoon, staying at her house for the weekend. yep, it's pretty boring here cos school hasnt started and we're free today cos the school's having the second orientation for the latecomers. I wonder if there are any other singaporeans coming, i was told there were supposed to be 4 boys but it turned out the 4 were all girls including me haha.
Anyway, so far i've made quite a number of friends. haha made friends with a bunch of china girls, theyre really nice but sadly they dont live at taylors house. Met another thai girl, she lives just across the corridor (: and the others are like singaporeans as well as their hongkong and thai friends. The people here are pretty fun and friendly! Yeah, unlike singapore where we have those who just scan you from top to toe and the worse thing is, after scanning through the decide not to talk to you cso youre either too geeky or too bitchy haha. However, here's different. Students are really friendly and all and there isnt any formality rubbish when it comes to student-teacher relationship. We call them by their first name haha yep. so it sounds rather weird when you call the dean (someone higher than a principal) by her name :\ well, i'll get used to it.

Anyway, school's been fine.
Have been calling back home everyday since i was left here all alone haha!
well, yeah.. i miss home and everyone back home, definitely.
but i'm pretty glad i'm here. The subjects seem fun but theyre difficult :\ yeah. I'll pull through with the help of God i'm sure.
Oh and the Lord has ben answering many prayers of mine in different and mysterious ways, Thank God for that.

Now, i can see why i'm actually here: To experience Him more each day without the distractions of life back in Singapore.
Anyway, i'm attending hillsong church for the time-being. It's like 5mins walk from my boarding. Yep, but i'll join ocf once i'm in uni. (:
Anyhows, my roommate rides horses and competes and she's now out riding! and she abandoned me here ): hahaha. alright, gonna have lunch soon.

Entering Taylors college which is sort of a direct route to University of Sydney this august, actually it was down either to trinity or to taylors in sydney.
However, i wanted to do a visual art and design elective in my foundation to see if i had the flare for it so, since taylors was the only college offering such an elective, i chose it!
Yeah, though many told me to go for trinity yada yada.

Anyway, i havent heard much about University of Sydney but i was told it's the oldest university in Aus and ranked top 40 in the world and it doesnt market it's university cos it thinks it doesnt have to. haha yeah, but after my foundation year i can still go over to melb uni if i do make the cut.
Oh and it came to my knowledge that UNSW is a logged on uni, which means if you go for the foundation, you HAVE TO go to UNSW uni no matter how well or badly you do!

Yep, so i've FINALLY planted my foot on somewhere. I'll be going over this july to check out some stuff.
Term starts on 21 Aug (:

BIGGER PROBLEMS NOW!

UNSW called me just now to tell me that MOE has recently sent out a policy stating that students enrolling for the foundation course in s'pore have to be 17 years before the YEAR of admission! Damn it.
which means, I'M NOT ELIGIBLE.
Crap, they misinterpreted the policy!
and now i'm school-less and wasted practically a YEAR doing squat! Actually, all thanks to my impulsiveness.
I've learnt two lessons from all these:
1. Don't be too impulsive and indecisive.
2. Don't take your foot off both sides, step on one and lift the other.

Yeah, anyway no point crying over spilt milk. What's done is done.
I don't think i can say that i'll love to return to jc neither will i go to the poly.
So for now, i'll focus on the september intake in sydney and do as much preparatory work i can now, cos the lady told me it's going to be accelerated learning for the september intake!
It's like jc in 8 MONTHS. yeah man, like wth.
but i'm ready :D hawhaw.
I'm sorta prepared for it, maybe not the lifestyle YET but studies, yes i guess.
RAH i'll seriously miss my firends back here ): Oh well..

Alright on a brighter note, some actually agreed to go up to sydney to visit me!

haha okay that was random! Alright, the entire morning and afternoon was spent basically reading the unsw article, calling my friends for info, calling up the office (THEY CUT OFF THEIR LINE?!) etc.
YEAH.
Initially, i thought the foundation year wasn't affected since they're using tp's premises.
BUT. I got info that they'll refund the second semester for the 1st intakers!
My heart sank! and i was finally preparing myself for sydney or trinity.
Then i started praying Reallyyyyyy hard.

AND GUESS WHAT?!
The lady just called back to say that they'll still be carrying on with the foundation course :D :D :D -REJOICES!

but seriously, i pity those in the midst of the degree programme. One day you're sitting there listening to lectures the next day the chancellor announces your school's closing?! I mean, they should've at least given them more reaction time? Like, announce it 6 months ago or smtng?
Just because we're students they can take the advantage to close down the school just because it's running at a deficit. Then, what if those were business people? Would it be THAT easy saying " oh sorry, i regret this but we're closing down next month."
YEAH. And in the first place, they should've calculated the risks involved when they came over to singapore!
It's like barely one quarter of the journey and they call it quits?!
yada yada yada i can continue if i want to.

haha it's been a REALLY longgggggg time since i last blogged.

Ohwell, i've withdrew from cj already like in early may, will be doing my foundation year in august at unsw asia.

well, not really. I've got to plan the upcoming youth camp games and i promise it isnt as easy as i thought it'd be.

haha we had our meeting at david's house from like 3-8pm on sunday.

haha okay basically, i'm going for french lessons with my dad once a week, planning games, EXERCISING (okay okay dont have to open your eyes so wide la), sleeping, eating GOOD FOOD (MUAHAHA! Like, oysters, mussels etc! :D) yeah that's about it.

yknow, typical singaporeans like my mum will encourage their children to start reading up on the chapters which will be taught this coming semester. yada yada yada yada.

it's been a really lonnnngggggggg time since i last blogged.
Anyway, blogging's been so monotonous and mundane that i've lost interest.

Okay, didn't go to school today.

Oh wait, i had a netball camp for the last three days and damn, it was draining.
puncturing every single muscle in my body was like my main aim of the camp haha.
My thigh muscles were giving way and i just clicked my ankle AGAIN, during trg yesterday!

hahahahahahaha you just cant imagine how overjoyed i was! REALLY.
i was seriously expecting over 20.

Anyway, this was what the teachers handing out my result slip said..

teacher: "why your hair like that!"
me: huh? dyed, lah.
teacher: you look like you got stuck in a machine!
me: what nonsense! hahaha.

i've officially quit the kindergarten (:
haha took photos etc.
On a whole, ive actually learnt things at the kindergarten.
How the life of a teacher. Yep things like that.
The child's development also. And and and the worst part, cleaning up their urine!
yes, but it's really rewarding to see the children appreciate everything you do for them.
Like, this girl she drew a picture of me and gave it to me.
and she was like "Ms Lye, this is for you."
Yeah, cos i told her i was not coming back the next day cos i was going to school haha.
Then the children ran up to me and gave me lotsa hugs.
I was damn touched lah. Seriously.
Haha but i took back some colouring to do so yea haha i'll go back when i want to! :D

Anyway, im going for netball later with my juniors.
HAHA yea yea im finally exercising after a longgggggg break. Like REALLY long.

i was packing my stuff when i stumbled on my primary school report book.
in primary one i scored like 86 for english. 89 for Chinese (CAN YOU IMAGINE IM ACTUALLY FAILING MY CHINESE NOW HAHA) and 95 for math!
hahahaha theyre making my toes laugh.

IN PRIMARY 6,
my 1.6km run was like 8mins! HAHAHA!
and shuttle run was like 9secs! Omg, and now im like a second slower!

didnt go to work, was on leave.

I'm like a useless white duck now after all the hibernation for almost a year.

It's just that ive not been in the sun for almost a year thus, my skin's having violent objections.
anyway anyway, ive decided to work till end of the month- like 31st jan
cos i realised i need to keep myself occupied if not il go senile.
and i seriously need to start exercising.

hi all,
im planning to stop work next week. Like, finally.
Found subs to replace me. ha ha. That's good isn't it, at least i wouldnt be labelled as irresponsible after i collect my pay cheque and scram.
Anyway, last week was fine. Played a lot with the kids (:
Been having frequent headaches and i finally found the root of the problem - O LEVEL RESULTS ARE JUST ROUND THE CORNER.
and guess what, i had a terrible nightmare last night!
i dreamt that i had an auspicious 39 POINTS ?!?! OMG.
and it seemed so so real. and i even told myself it was all real cos i was holding the results slip in my hand.
the biggest horror was that i had E8 for English?!?! OMG.
i think il just freak out and collapse till like forever if it were to happen.
And this isnt exactly the first time ive dreamt of my olevel results. RAH.
i heard it's on the 5th of Feb. I really hope it'd have been after CNY!
Like, your nosey aunties or whatever wouldnt start probing and all. Then, start comparing with your cousins etcetera. How i hate all this.
I wish i could hibernate till june or smtng and never get my results.

haha had diarrhoea for the last two days.
went to the kindergarten but my colleagues chased me home instead HAHA.
so anyway,slept for like 3/4 of yesterday.
WONDERFUL.

returned to work today.
fewer cry babies already.
And today wasn't as tiring as the first few days. Thank God!
i'm the only temp staff right now cos the other two just disappeared in the course of the week.
BRILLIANT.
haha im feeling all kiddo right now cos the kids are just influencing me THAT much.
YES, they do actually influence adults.

ohyes, i made a new friend. CHEYENNE.
haha she's super sticky to me. She refuses to hold her friend's hand etc.
so mrs yip was like "afterwards you disappear okay."
hahaha yeah so i had like nothing else to do.
Just sat in the class and observed the kids haha. Pretty interesting actually.
oh yeah, and another girl, elizabeth! She's sooo sweeeeet.

HEY
working at ascension kindergarten really tires me.
my whole body's aching. i feel old and crackable haha.
the kids came in today and duh- cry babies were THE UNSTOPPABLES.
theres this boy, he's like super glue. he jumps around, wants me to hug him, wipes his face on my lap, clings onto my leg HAHA.
and there's this other girl of mine, her name's joy.
She lives up to her name man. Haha i was like laughing and playing with her all the while.
And this other girl name katriel, she tells me about dinosaurs with lots of gestures and how she keeps a dino in her cupboard and all that.
haha they're in nursery by the way.
they're actually real adorable, the chubby ones hahaha.

but the job's so so draining.

went for ministry training camp in the mrng.
mutton charis and iris came over to my place and we made our way there with the help of my dad's driver haha. so slept :)
camp was fun. Fellowship comm planned the PHUNKEH PYJAMAS PARTAYE!
hahaha was really funny lah. As in among ourselves haha.
Jarron was being such a monkey doodles!
Jonny was as usual, err, JONNY? Yes. Spastic haha.
But was a pity, i couldnt stayover.

but anyway, just came back from a dinner.
THE LADY- She's swiss. Her food's also swiss. Plates also swiss. Everything's swiss.
She brings back all her meat and whatsoever from switzerland.
Ohyes, met two young girls from Princess Elizabeth primary school. Yea, doesnt sound familiar at all right haha. it's at bukit batok btw. YES, the girls are so so brilliant. The eldest girl was speaking in COMPLETE SENTENCES and she's only 11? She carried herself like she was a 16year old. Haha.

Kids nowadays ah, out-smart their parents. Ha ha!

and her command of english is seriously like a 15year old or older. She can easily win my younger brother hands down! Hoho. She's so gifted! Rah.

anyhowwwwww japan was great.
Just that we were disadvantaged in one way- communication.
OMG, we were literally playing charades for the whole ten days in japan!
They would ramble on and on and on and my cousin and i would just nod showing as if we understood every single word they spoke HAHA. then, we would smile and bow and walk off haha.
